The Morales Method® of Manual Therapy & Body Conditioning
provides Bodyworkers with powerful tools and knowledge that will help their clients get out of pain, improve their posture, and empower them to stay out of pain.

The Morales Method® has four branches of study that lead to distinct certifications:

  • Specialized training in bodywork and Structural Integration through the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration (MMASI), founded by Marty Morales.

  • The Pain Specialist program, designed by Marty Morales and Sharon Oshita is specifically geared for addressing pain issues with manual therapy.

  • The Deep Tissue Therapist program ("Deep Tech"), designed by Marty Morales, is a comprehensive training of Deep Tissue manual therapy.

  • The Morales Method® Move In Mind™ Program, designed by Monica Canducci, is a movement education and body conditioning program based on the principles of Structural Integration.

All programs designed by Marty Morales employ advanced tissue palpation systems called the Concepts of Palpation and a philosophy/style of work that fosters constant research and progress.  Learn more about all of our programs below!

*Note: For all certifications, a signed license agreement is required. As part of the certification process of all programs, each student will go through testing, analysis, and evaluation of their knowledge, skills, and abilities for the purposes of certification (re-certification) of the following fields:

  • Manual Therapy

  • Body Conditioning

  • Bodywork and Structural Integration

Structural Integration

A breakdown of the Morales Method Academy of Structural Integration Program hours
The MMASI certification is Structural Integration training geared towards the bodyworker who wants to become a Structural Integration practitioner.  Through our school, the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration (MMASI), we have structured a 580-hour program recognized by the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) and also approved by the Nevada State Board of Massage Therapists.  In this program, the practitioner is introduced to a way of body reading, assessment, and a philosophy of work that follows the lineage of Dr. Ida P. Rolf.

Pain Specialist

This program is geared toward the bodyworker who wants to become more effective and efficient at addressing clients in pain. The student who completes this program will be skilled in potent techniques to address neck and low back pain, as well as other common conditions and, will have the ability to do so with safe body mechanics. The student is exposed to the main principles of the Morales Method® including high-level palpation techniques and spinal mechanics.  An exam is taken to test for competency.

This program is for the practitioner who wants to take their Deep Tissue Massage skills to the next level and separate themselves from the pack. A full and comprehensive training covering all aspects on the subject of Deep Tissue Therapy, this 50-hour program has a rich legacy stemming from Ida P. Rolf and shares techniques used by many Structural Integrators.  Taught by highly skilled instructors, including Marty Morales, author of "Mastering Body Mechanics" and international instructor.  This program represents some of the best training any practitioner can achieve on the subject.

Move In Mind™

Move-In Mind™ is for anyone interested in the connection between the body and the mind. No former bodywork experience is necessary for this course. The student who completes this program will be skilled in teaching clients how to functionally engage the postural muscles, how to move from “the core” through specific sensory-motor imagery, and how to move mindfully, always supported by the act of breathing. The techniques in this program will help your clients overcome motor conflicts and improve motor control, coordination, and fluidity. This modality provides bodyworkers, mental health practitioners, and movement educators who want to integrate, implement, or develop movement work based on neuroplasticity in their practice to maximize their effectiveness.
