If you’ve ever wanted to go deeper than traditional massage and learn to address posture, chronic pain, functional movement, and long-term change in the body, MMASI™ Level 1 is where your journey begins.

This 40-hour in-person workshop introduces you to the philosophy and framework of the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration. You’ll come away with practical tools you can integrate into your current practice right away — and a strong foundation to continue toward full certification.

Who This Workshop Is For?

This training is designed for manual therapists who want to expand their skills including:

  • Licensed/certified CMTs, LMTs, PTs, and ATCs

  • Therapists curious about Structural Integration and how it differs from massage

  • Practitioners looking to start their journey to MMASI™ certification​​​​

What You’ll Learn:

By the end of Level 1, you’ll have the knowledge and hands-on skills to start seeing your clients differently:

  • How to view the body through gait and movement analysis

  • The foundational principles of Structural Integration and the MMASI™ approach

  • Palpation and assessment skills you can apply immediately in your practice

  • An introduction to the MMASI™ 10-Series framework

Meet Your Instructors

Marty Morales, Certified Advanced Rolfer®, MBA

Marty is a NCBTMB (451212-10) approved continuing education provider. He is the creator of the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration and an author of several books including: Deep Tissue Bodywork- A New Approach to a Classic Modality, Mastering Body Mechanics, 2nd Ed, and Morales Method® Core Integration Therapy. Marty has been teaching since 2006 and has held classes in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Florida, Japan, Switzerland, Poland, and Taiwan.

 

His private practice in San Francisco, CA has been running since 2003 with over 10,000 hours logged in session. Before beginning his training as a massage therapist in 2002, Marty received an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Marty is passionate about bodywork and continuing education and loves the classroom environment where he gets to share his experience and knowledge from over two decades in the field!

Instructor Caroline Moncure

Caroline Moncure MMASI™ Adv. Practitioner, Morales Method® Instructor

 

Caroline is a NCBTMB approved constiuing education provider. She specializes in Structural Integration and Pain Management in her private practice. Caroline earned her CMT certification in 2016 in San Francisco, CA, and quickly realized she wanted to deepen her approach. That same year, she discovered the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration and went on to complete her advanced Structural Integration training in 2018.

Since 2016, Caroline has maintained a successful private practice in San Francisco, working primarily with clients seeking pain relief and injury rehabilitation. Alongside her hands-on work, she runs a marketing consulting business focused on supporting bodyworkers and healthcare practitioners. Through this work, she has helped private practitioners and schools increase sales, design websites, produce online courses, and grow engaged social media communities.

Caroline has also been teaching since 2022, offering classes and workshops at privately and at various massage schools. Her teaching experience includes subjects such as Deep Tissue Bodywork, Medical Massage, Structural Integration, Health & Hygiene, Pathology, Business, and Ethics, and First Aid/CPR/AED.

FAQs

What is the cancellation policy?

There will be no refunds within two weeks of the scheduled workshop, only credit toward future workshops.

If cancelled before the two-week window prior to the class, a $100 cancellation fee will be applied. Processing of a participant’s refund will occur within 7-10 business days from the day request is received.

What is the Morales Method Academy of Structural Integration?

​The Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration is certification program for licensed manual therapists that combines online learning, home study, and in-person workshops. Through the program, students gain hands-on experience with the foundational techniques of Structural Integration, learn to assess movement and posture, and build the skills needed to guide clients toward lasting change. MMASI™ provides a clear pathway from introductory workshops to full practitioner certification, giving therapists both the knowledge and practical training to confidently integrate Structural Integration into their practice. This course is eligible for 40.0 hours of credit in the Morales Method Academy of Structural Integration Certification should you want to pursue further training.

Will this workshop offer CEUs?

This workshop has been approved by NCBTMB (451212-10) 40.0 CEUs.​

We cannot offer partial credit if you're late. You'll receive a digital certificate of completion at the end of the course that you can submit to your state board for credit.​​

​

What will I need to bring?

You will not need to bring a table.

You will need to bring:

  • Shorts and a tank top or sports bra to wear when receiving the work

  • Water (and snacks for yourself, if necessary)

  • Lunch money or bagged lunch
     

What about lunch?

We'll take an hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm. You can either bring your own lunch or eat at a restaurant near the venue. There are a few different lunch options within walking distance of the venue.
