Program Description:
Students will learn about the anatomy, pathology, & contraindications for working the ankle and knee. We'll cover specific palpation techniques and assessments for common conditions in the knees and ankles.
After learning how to assess these areas, we'll also cover specific manual therapy techniques to work with common areas of injury and dysfunction including talus, myo-fascial septum, fibula, and more! The techniques learned in this course will help students address common injuries in the knees and ankles with confidence.

This class is eligible for 8.0 hours of credit in the Morales Method® Pain Specialist Certification Programs should you want to pursue further training.

Meet Your Instructor

Caroline Moncure MMASI™ Adv. Practitioner, Morales Method® Instructor is a bodyworker specializing in Structural Integration and Pain Management. She earned her CMT certification in 2016 in San Francisco, CA, and quickly realized she wanted to deepen her practice. That same year, she discovered the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration and went on to complete her advanced Structural Integration training in 2018.
Since 2016, Caroline has maintained a successful private practice in San Francisco, working primarily with clients seeking pain relief and injury rehabilitation. Alongside her hands-on work, she runs a marketing consulting business focused on supporting bodyworkers and healthcare practitioners. Through this work, she has helped private practitioners and schools increase sales, design websites, produce online courses, and grow engaged social media communities.
Caroline has also been teaching since 2022, offering classes and workshops at various massage schools. Her teaching experience includes subjects such as Deep Tissue Bodywork, Medical Massage, Structural Integration, Health & Hygiene, Pathology, Business, and Ethics.
FAQs
What is the cancellation policy?
There will be no refunds within two weeks of the scheduled workshop, only credit toward future workshops.
If cancelled before the two-week window prior to the class, a $75 cancellation fee will be applied. Processing of a participant’s refund will occur within 7-10 business days from the day request is received.
What are the Morales Method® Pain Specialist Programs?
The Morales Method® Pain Specialist Programs are for the bodyworker who wants to learn the techniques that will help them get their clients out of pain and take their practice into the next paradigm of manual therapy. Whether you want to work with athletes, the elderly, or your everyday individual struggling with acute or chronic pain symptoms, the training for these certifications will teach you how to work both confidently and efficiently with your clients. This course is eligible for 8.0 hours of credit in the Morales Method® Pain Specialist Certification Programs should you want to pursue further training.
Will this workshop offer CEUs?
This workshop has been approved by NCBTMB (451212-10) and the Florida Board of Massage Therapy for 8.0 CEUs.
We cannot offer partial credit if you're late. You'll receive a digital certificate of completion at the end of the course that you can submit to your state board for credit. We submit hours to CE Broker for FL State Licensed Massage Therapists, but we will need your FL License number to submit the hours.
Can I still get certified and/or receive my CEUs if I'm late or can only attend part of the workshop?
No. I cannot issue a certificate of completion for the workshop unless you're on time and are present for the full day. For example, I cannot offer 4 hours of credit if you can only attend for 4 hours.
What will I need to bring?
You will not need to bring a table.
You will need to bring:

Shorts and a tank top or sports bra to wear when receiving the work

Sheets for your table (1 fitted or flat sheet, and a face cradle cover or pillow case)

Water (and snacks for yourself, if necessary)

Lunch money or bagged lunch
What about lunch?
We'll take an hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm. You can either bring your own lunch or eat at a restaurant near the school. There are a few different lunch options within walking distance of the school.
